SURVIVAL SERVER

RULEWORK

Survival rules

1. general

  1. The general rule is to show mutual consideration and to treat everyone nicely.
  2. The instructions of the server team must be followed.
  3. A certain amount of role-play is desired, but this does not exempt you from appropriate interaction with other players.

2. buildings

  1. Damaging or dismantling the buildings of other players (so-called "griefing") is prohibited. If such damage occurs accidentally, the server team must be informed immediately. Please do not try to repair anything yourself!
  2. Buildings that are offensive, objectionable or illegal in any way will be removed and the builder will be penalised accordingly.
  3. 1×1 towers and holes are prohibited, with the exception of temporary 1×1 towers that serve as an aid to building.
  4. Building on the roof of the Nether is prohibited.
  5. Building chunk loaders that permanently load a region without player intervention is prohibited.
  6. In principle, a minimum distance of 50 blocks must be maintained from existing buildings and 150 blocks from the outermost city boundary. If this rule is violated, the right of the first to build applies. The player who built first may, after consultation with the server team, set a deadline for the other player to demolish the building in question. If this deadline expires, the server team can remove the building.
  7. Smaller distances between the structures may be agreed in consultation with the owner of the other structure.
  8. If a building is outside the 50 blocks but disturbs the aesthetics of other buildings, it may be considered non-compliant (clarify such special cases with the server team).

3. cities

  1. The administration of a city is responsible, within reasonable limits, for what happens in its city. Violations of any rules within a city must be reported immediately.
  2. The administration of a city has the right to activate or deactivate flags in their city at will. Players must be informed about the activation of PvP when entering the city.
  3. Damage caused by rule 2 will not be repaired/replaced by the server team.
  4. Representatives of cities are authorised to issue instructions to other players who are in the city and can expel them from the city.
  5. Cities can enact their own laws, the enforcement of which is the responsibility of the city. No server rules may be violated.
  6. Cities that exclude residents from their city must give them sufficient time to take their belongings with them. Otherwise, a member of the city administration must return the items to the excluded resident immediately upon request. If the excluded player does not reclaim the items within a reasonable period of time, the city may keep them.

4. shops

  1. Shops are to be set up in an appropriate building.
  2. Exploiting the ignorance of other players in order to earn money through a shop, gambling machines or other means is prohibited.

5. monster/animal farms

  1. Monster farms are to be built underground or in such a way that they cannot be recognised as mob farms from the outside or that they blend into the landscape.
  2. Each mob in a farm must have at least 1×1 block to itself.
  3. If a farm generates too many lags, it can be removed by the server team.
  4. The construction of automatic farms of any kind is prohibited in the spawn chunks (permanently loaded chunks).

6. redstone circuits

  1. Redstone circuits that cause unnecessary lags can be removed after consultation with the server team.
  2. Gigantic storage systems that cause unnecessary lags can be removed after consultation with the server team. Please make sure that they are well lit and use efficient methods.
  3. Clocks (redstone pulse/clock generator) are permitted, but must be deactivated when not in use.

7. traps for players

  1. Traps for players that kill or indefinitely imprison a player are not permitted.
  2. Devices that do not kill other players or hold them indefinitely are allowed.

8. PvP

  1. PvP is only permitted in the PvP arenas or in towns with PvP.
  2. After a battle, all items must be returned to the previous owner (unless otherwise agreed).

9. modifications & bugs

  1. Any type of client modification and third-party programme that gives the user an advantage over other users is prohibited.
  2. The use of bugs of any kind is prohibited. This also includes all types of duplicators. Any item caused by a bug must be reported to the server team immediately. You can find a list of the official bug tracker here.
  3. Threatening to use a client modification or such a third-party programme is also punished.
  4. The use of bots of any kind is prohibited.
  5. The destruction of bedrock is prohibited.
